College Football Predictions – Week 2

The games start to get tougher to pick from here on out. I only hope that my Over/Under Record improves.And for those who do read this, why am I picking a Wake Forest at Purdue game? The Top 25 dfoesn’t have lots of intriguing matchups this week. So, pick some games that Vegas says will be close.

• Ohio State at Texas (-1.5, O/U: 49.5)

Big game of the week. I think that the Buckeye defense will stop the Longhorns enough to eke out a victory.

Win: Ohio State. Point Spread: Ohio State. Over/Under: Under

• Arizona at BYU (-7.5, O/U: 48.5)

I so want to pick Arizona in this game. I have a feeling that BYU is able to be beaten, but not by this Wildcats team.

Win: BYU. Point Spread: BYU. Over Under: Over

• Oklahoma at Michigan (+5, O/U: 43.5)

Let’s put it this way, I would take Oklahoma if they were 21 point favorites. There are problems with the Wolverines that will take more than 1 week to correct.

Win: Oklahoma. Point Spread: Oklahoma. Over/Under: Under

• Missouri at Kansas (+5.5, O/U: 51.5)

Kansas is getting some respect with this line. I don’t think that respect is warrented.

Win: Missouri. Point Spread: Missouri. Over/Under: Over

• Arizona state at Texas A&M (-14.5, O/U:50.5)

The Aggies aren’t as good as last year, but they should beat the Sun Devils rather easily.

Win Texas A&M. Point spread: Texas A^M. Over/Under: Over

• Oregon at Oklahoma State (+23., O/U: 56.5)

Just a week ago, people were saying that Oklahoma State might be a sleeper in the Big 12. Oregon outlasted Boise state last week. Oh, I see a butt kicking coming on saturday.

Win: Oregon. Point Spread: Oregon. Over/Under: Under.

• Rutgers at Boston College (-3.5, O/U: 54.5)

Rutgers looked like a team with no fight against UMass. The Eagles are better than UMass.

Win: Boston College. Point Spread: Boston College. Over/Under: Over

• Wake Forest at Purdue (+3, O/u: 49.5)

At least Purdue isn’t the worst team in the Big 10.

Win: Wake Forest. Point Spread: Wake Forest. Over/Under: Under.

• Alabama at Kentucky (+10, O/U: 49.5)

Bama being a double-digit favorite on the road frightens me a bit with the recent track record. But I cannot get past the Wildcats plight.

Winner: Alabama. Point Spread: Alabama. Over/Under: Under

• California st Syracuse (-3.5, O/U: 56.5)

Cal flying across the country for a conference game. Totally wrong. Syracuse moves to 2-0.

Winner: Syracuse. Point Spread: Syracuse. Over/Under: Under
