I am doing another box break. This time its a hobby box of Marvel Studios She-Hulk. The series wasn’t that great when I watched it, but sometimes that is for the best when collecting cards and stock for card shows. Anyways, I found this box at around a 65% discount and decided to snag it.Let’s see if the discount wasn’t large enough.

Overall Thoughts:
You get what you are promised in each box. In fact, we got a couple bigger pulls than the odds would indicate. The Going Viral Level 4 was a nice surprise. A second of the 1:15 odds in packs while not anything spectacular was also a nice thing to see. The show was quirky and the cards are as well. Didn’t really like the design of the base set. Making it look like you are peering through a dimensional portal to see the picture just doesn’t seem to work for this set. They did the same on the back of the card which limited the explanation of what the card was about. Not a big fan of that. The |Neon Green parallel is a homage o the color of She-Hulk’s skin. Not a bad way to go. Nothing groundbreaking about the insert sets, but in this instance, I like the plain look of most of them. Brings some needed levity to the product.
A couple of quality control issues were found. I have 4 base set cards that have indentures in the left side. They were all in different packs. Probably the pusher being off a tad. The sides of a couple of cards weren’t cut completely so there are little rough edges on a couple of cards. All of that brings my level of satisfaction down to a normal level.That is on the collecting side. On the card selling side, I am pumped.
I did a five-minute search on eBay for the Going Viral Level 4 card. The lowest amount that I saw listed for that level was $89.99. For paying around $60, that is a total win for the pocketbook. The rest of the inserts I pulled are the normal price range for what you would expect. A couple of dollars here, a couple of dollars there.
Overall, this product isn’t the best in the world. It’s not the worst either. You either like the quirkiness of the base set or you don’t. For myself personally, I don’t think it fits the character or what the show was about. It does show that the series was interconnected witht he rest of the Marvel Universe, although it is a very minor piece of it.
